Kill Devil HIll – “Strange” Live in Denver 2012 & PV

Kill Devil Hill performed live at the Paramount Theater in Denvere on 23 November, 2012. This bootleg was filmed by an audience at that time. Sound quality isn’t good enough but the vocal is really nice.

Kill Devil Hill is an American heavy metal band formed by Rex Brown (ex-Pantera) in 2011. The personnels except Rex are drummer Vinny Appice (former Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell and Dio), guitarist Mark Zavon (RATT, W.A.S.P., 40 CYCLE HUM) and lead vocalist Dewey Bragg (former Pissing Razors). Appice described their sound “like a cross between BLACK SABBATH, ALICE IN CHAINS and a little bit of LED ZEPPELIN thrown in. It’s heavy, but with a lot of cool hooks and melodic overtones, too.” (Blabbermouth.net “KILL DEVIL HILL: First Audio Sample Posted Online“)

Official Music Video

“Strange” is taken from Kill Devil Hill’s self-titled debut album “Kill Devil Hill” (SPV, 2012).

Lyrics

Way’s this place so sad when throwing things in the air
Seeing you not sick can you use anymore

Over my head I feel I’m sinking down deeper still
There’s no way home from here
Into the fog I just disappear

Strange is the way,
long through the day

How can I face the day,
and why should I care
Reading through I just can’t take anymore

Over my head I feel I’m sinking down deeper still
There’s no way home from here
Into the fog I just disappear

Strange is the way,
long through the day

Over my head I feel I’m sinking down deeper still
There’s no way home from here
Into the fog I just disappear

Strange is the way,
long through the day
